The economic downturn that started in 2007 has made selling a home much more difficult now than just a few years ago. However, one of the main things that helps sell homes in this market (or even in an up market) is great photography. Most potential buyers now begin their home search on the Web, either through a Multiple Listing Service Web site or through a classified ad site such as CraigsList. Bright, Sharp, well exposed and well composed photos will increase the chance that buyers will contact you to inspect the property in person. A pocket point-and-shoot digital camera with its inherently narrow field of view just cannot create very compelling photos.
I am a photographer specializing in residential real estate. I'm skilled at natural light or multiple-flash interior photos and interior or exterior panoramic photography. I work with realtors and individual owners.
My photo equipment is top quality: a digital SLR camera with very wide angle and standard zoom lenses and multiple flash units with radio-controlled triggers. I use Photoshop and other post-processing software to correct and enhance the images. The geographic areas I work in are Pierce, Kitsap, and South King counties, Washington in spring and summer and the Phoenix, Arizona area during fall and winter (October-May).
I'm semi-retired and available at any time on short notice to photograph your property and I can get the photos back to you within 24 hours.
In my former corporate life I was a mechanical engineer but in 1995 switched to computer programming at Microsoft and Boeing.
